Condition: These items by definition are antique. They will have signs of wear consummate to their age. Items are either as found, or have had normal regular maintenance. We expect that things you purchase are ready for display and use when they arrive. That said, if we observe a major flaw in an object we try to note that in the item description. Clocks are thought to be in working order unless otherwise noted. We do recommend a qualified clock person to set up & maintain your clock. There is no clock service in Key West.
Returns: Returns are not accepted. That said, we want all of our customers to be happy with their purchase. We will work with you to address issues to your satisfaction.
Damage Claims: On the rare occasion there is damage in shipment, please save all packing materials, and contact the shipper to start the claim process. Shippers will usually need access to the item for inspection to process the claim. We recommend insurance on all shipments. Please let us know right away if there is damage. The shippers insurance requires timely notification for claims.
Shipping: Due to the nature of these items, shipping quotes are not automatic. Listings are set up as pick up at the store. We will contact movers, shippers, or the local Pakmail affiliate on your behalf. Please feel free to contact the store directly should you wish to discuss an item or purchase over the phone.
In most cases our first recommendation for shipping is the local Pakmail affiliate. They can handle both parcel and freight items. They pick up here at the store, pack and ship items within a few days. Higher value items will need to be placed in crates for their protection. We have had very good luck with Pakmail.
The local UPS store may not offer pick up at the merchant. Other options for shipping, would be local movers or your own crew. We will do our best facilitate the shipping process.
